What it Means to Me

Character Education is the backbone of an educational program. If we can aspire to teach students to care about each other, solve problems in an effective and efficient way, and exhibit appropriate behaviors, our classroom learning becomes significantly easier. Not only that, our students can begin to change the often poor, pessimistic attitudes that they are bombarded with through the many media outlets that they are exposed to each day. A successful program requires the cooperation of administrators, teachers, and parents. The more influencing individuals in a child's life that are "on board" with a program, the better chance for success there is. Consistency is the key.
